Dave McCanney provides investment banking services, including the placement of senior debt, mezzanine and private equity financing for middle market companies. This includes companies in special situations, companies in transition and companies facing immediate financial difficulties.

Dave's background as a bankruptcy lawyer and commercial banker provides clients with important insights into the interplay of bankruptcy law and commercial finance for companies in financial stress. Dave has over 25 years of experience working for and with financial institutions, including working as a commercial lender and loan workout officer with Meridian Bank and in loan administration with Wilmington Trust Company. As a commercial banker, he concentrated on credit review and analysis, commercial lending, asset-based financing and commercial loan workout. In addition to his years as a banker, Dave served as an advisor to financial institutions in numerous commercial loan, loan workout and restructuring transactions, including car dealerships, agricultural credits, printing companies and other manufacturing companies.

Dave received a B.S. from The University of Scranton, an MBA in Finance from St. Joseph’s University and a J.D. from Widener University School of Law. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
