With over 25 years in the financial services industry, Jeff Waldron provides investment banking services to insurance companies, banks and thrifts with particular emphasis on mutual companies. He was instrumental in drafting the Pennsylvania Insurance Company Mutual-to-Stock Conversion Act and in negotiating key provisions with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department. Since enactment of this legislation, Pennsylvania has been one of the nation's laboratories for new approaches to the demutualization of the insurance industry, where Jeff remains an active participant in the process. He was similarly involved in drafting Delaware's recently passed demutualization legislation. Jeff is actively involved in the convergence between insurance and banking, advises insurance distribution companies on M&A activities and assists in the establishment of premium finance and life settlement structures. Jeff received a B.A. from The University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law. He is a General Securities Principal. |
