Mark Russell works with investment banking clients and their principals, providing merger and acquisition advisory services and private placements of debt and capital. He also works extensively in the management buyout area and provides financial statement analysis, including identifying and evaluating potential acquirers and acquisition targets.

Mark’s background as a CPA, a CFP, an MBA and a lawyer provides an important link between our clients and their accountants and lawyers to creatively address accounting, tax and financial planning issues.

Prior to joining Griffin, he served as a Product Development Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Washington, D.C., where he worked in PwC's National Tax Group to develop creative corporate tax planning strategies and analyzed publicly available information to determine the applicability of those strategies. He was also responsible for implementing large projects and coordinating project teams and corporate personnel.

Mark received a B.B.A. from Texas Christian University, an MBA from Texas Tech University School of Business, a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and an LL.M. in Tax from the Georgetown University Law Center.
